Window & Door Installation
Window and door replacement, installation and surrounding finish work planned around the opening and the way the home is used.
Define the scope
Fit the opening and the purpose.
Tell JackStone whether you are replacing an existing window or door, changing an interior opening or planning a broader renovation. Product dimensions, operation and the surrounding materials guide the scope.
- Interior and exterior door installation
- Window replacement and installation
- Casing, trim and finish restoration
- Opening changes coordinated with the renovation
Review conditions
Review what surrounds the opening.
An opening connects framing, finishes and, on exterior walls, the building envelope. Existing conditions, product instructions and access affect the work. Structural changes need appropriate review before the opening is altered.
Finish the work
Coordinate installation with the finish.
Agree on hardware, trim, thresholds and painting alongside the main product. For occupied homes, discuss access, protection and the sequence of replacement work before installation begins.
Common questions
Useful answers before the first walkthrough.
- Can I supply my own window or door?
- Share the specifications before ordering. Dimensions, site conditions and installation requirements need review first.
- Can you make an opening larger?
- A larger opening may involve structure and utilities. Feasibility and requirements must be reviewed before the scope is confirmed.
- Does installation include trim and painting?
- These can be included. Confirm the surrounding finish work when the installation scope is defined.
